the holliday inn of folly beach is a great spot! it’s just a short walk across the street to the beach. the pool area is perfect for families, and my private balcony was nice for relaxation. the owner at the front desk was really helpful and interesting to talk to.

The rooms provide a nostalgic 50's vibe but come with an unpleasant smell. The bedding was adequate, although the pillows were excessively firm. Unfortunately, the presence of cockroaches was discouraging, and the indifferent service from the front desk did not help. Thankfully, the sweet treats offered in the dining area were a small highlight, making for a brief and enjoyable moment during the stay.

I loved the vintage feel of the historic saltwater pool, designed by the one and only Ester Williams! 🌊 It made my sunshine-filled days even brighter. Plus, the cozy kitchenette in my room was perfect for whipping up family meals, a great bonus for making memories together!
